Specialty Decaf Blend Mycotoxin Free Coffee Beans
Specialty Decaf Blend Mycotoxin Free Coffee Beans
This blend is made predominantly from Colombian beans which have been processed using the sugar cane method resulting in decaffeinated beans, mixed and roasted with Swiss Water decaffeinated beans from either Brazil or Mexico (subject to which beans we can source). Roasted medium for a well-rounded body and low acidity, it tastes mainly of chocolate and nuts with a slight fruit finish.
What is Mycotoxin Free Coffee?
To provide clarity on what Mycotoxin-free coffee is? It is important to note that mycotoxins are typically found in low-grade coffee, which often results from poor storage conditions. Mycotoxins are just mould found in the coffee. The specialty coffee that Silipo sources is always of premium quality, rated above 85, and can pretty much ensure it is free from mycotoxins. We consistently verify with our green bean suppliers that the coffee we purchase is mycotoxin-free. While we have always relied on their assurances in the short term, we decided to conduct our own Mycotoxin testing. We will continue to do this each contract, season and year for this coffee. Ensuring you will always receive Mycotoxin-free coffee beans.
This blend is good for both milk-based and black coffees.
Silipo is proud to partner with Project Waterfall. For every kilo of retail and wholesale coffee beans sold, Silipo donates 25 cents to help provide clean, sanitary water to coffee growing-communities across the world.
