Richard first discovered the art of espresso in 1994. Since then, he has been deeply involved in the hospitality industry, owning cafes and restaurants, as well as managing various franchised and non-franchised businesses. With a wealth of experience, Richard has undergone extensive barista training and has even participated in and won numerous barista competitions. In 2014, he achieved a top three placement in the Queensland Cup Tasters Championship. Additionally, Richard has garnered recognition for his exceptional coffee roasting skills, earning several awards during his early years in the industry. As an active member of the Australian Speciality Coffee Association (ASCA), Richard proudly serves as an accredited judge for the Queensland Barista Championships organized by ASCA. He is dedicated to sharing his passion for coffee with both his staff and customers, striving to deliver outstanding specialty coffee not only across Australia, but also worldwide.
